Josh Curtis

Josh Curtis is one of L.A.’s premier bartenders, whose launchpad was Rod Dyer’s Pane e Vino—Zagat Guide’s “best patio in L.A.” In 2002, it was to Vida in Los Feliz making infusions for the ‘Roadkill’ cocktail under Chef Fred Eric’s close supervision. He’s worked at many great establishments. In 2005, at the Hungry Cat directed by Chef David Lentz, he created original cocktails defining “Bar Fresh" in LA. In 2010, he implemented vast couture cocktail menus for bottle service/lounge Guys & Dolls and then Supperclub at the historic Vogue Theatre in Hollywood.

Josh Curtis has bartended many exclusive music & movie premiere parties in the private homes of celebrities including Mark Mothersbaugh of DEVO, Artist Mark Ryden, Cheryl Hines, Jacqueline Bisset, Balthazar Getty, Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs, and Dave Chapelle.

Since 2013, Josh has created a unique cocktail menu each week for Shutters on the Beach. He is currently the Bar Director at the Malibu Beach Inn located on the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California.
