Mixing with Nolet’s Silver Gin – Part 1

In the 1st of a 3 part series, three of our CHILLED 100 show-off their true colors with an original spirit that’s just right for sultry summer nights – NOLET’S Silver Gin.

The NOLET family has a rich history of distilling and with NOLET’S Silver they have created a very distinctive gin. In addition to the traditional botanicals, fruit notes such as peach and raspberry are present, along with exotic Turkish rose.

Mixing With Nolet’s Silver Gin

With my ‘No, Let’s Stay Together’, I wanted to create a refreshing summertime cocktail with some savory flavors that complement each other. I chose fennel and mint and opted to use the mint stems in the syrup (instead of tossing them) which yields a more interesting and in-depth flavor.

In 2015, searching for better weather, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she became the Bar Manager for The Walker Inn, recently cited by Eater National as having the Best Bar Program in the US and named by Time Out as the Best New Cocktail Bar in LA. After an amazing year working with and learning from the Proprietors LLC team there, Emmerson has decided to move on from The Walker Inn to figure out what the next great adventure is – primarily focusing on ways to help the service industry as a whole be healthier and make better choices. Don’t worry, she loves LA too much to leave it – and the taco trucks are pretty great.
