Buddy Gormley

Buddy Gormley has been a member of the bartending community for nearly 3 years and currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. He got his start at a high-end private catering company in Boston, bartending for events like the Patriot's 2017 Super Bowl Ring Ceremony party, multi-million dollar weddings, and exclusive corporate events. Buddy has since moved into the hotel industry, where he’s had the opportunity to flex his creative muscles serving guests from all over the world with different tastes.

Here in Nashville, Buddy was afforded the opportunity to compete in the Master of the Craft bartending competition where he placed first and later came in 7th place overall at the Southeast Regional Semifinals in Atlanta. This opportunity allowed him to meet so many talented bartenders, many of whom he still keeps in touch with today.

Buddy considers himself to be very creative, which forces him to stay on top of all the latest trends in the industry while still balancing his knowledge of what his clientele will actually enjoy vs. what is just going viral on social media. He was fortunate enough to participate in the 2019 Bartender Advocacy Convention, where he gained extensive knowledge on cocktail history as well as new techniques and skills from the founders of Death & Co and writers of the Cocktail Codex.

Additionally, Buddy had the opportunity to work with a representative of The Flavour Blaster to help showcase their cocktail smoking gun technology to global hotel beverage leaders before it officially hit the market. Buddy is extremely excited about the innovation and creativity across the industry, and is thrilled to represent the rapidly growing food and cocktail scene in Nashville via Chilled 100! You can find Buddy doing what he does best, behind the bar at the Little Fib restaurant and Bridge Lounge at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.
